You had to put your beloved rat down today.  We thought maybe he had had a stroke because his back half no longer worked.  His front half was still happy!  The vet said that he thought Mojo probably broke his back upon a fall from jumping up and down.  He didn't seem to be in any pain when we handled him, thank goodness.

You were very sad. We all were.  Mojo was an amazing rat!  The best thing about Moj' was that he loved us all back. He was a great cuddle and loads of fun.  He made us say, "Awwww!" often because he was so dang cute.

Letting him go was hard on all of us.

We finally got the stage all put back together after the Christmas programs.  This is where you play!  This is also the church where Dad & I got married - although at THAT time it was St. Stephens.  It was also where I performed in my very first Christmas program and sand Sunday school songs from the Choir Loft.  This church has so much history for my Mother's family - then for me - then for Daddy and I - now for you guys.

I just love the whole story behind it all and I love listening to you both up there. I'm so proud of you both! Proud that you have the courage to go up front. Proud of your musical talents.

I'm blessed and thankful to have you as my sons.

My Benny-Boy, you are really something. I came home today and you were staring at the digital clock on the oven.  You told me you had to stay right there for two more minutes. When I asked you why, you said it was so you could see 1 2 3 4 on the clock. You've done this for 6 days in a row now.

You have a Slinky

Tangled Slinky

We found you a Slinky - a real, old fashion Slinky. The kind that we grew up with - not these cheap plastic ones from another country.

You both liked the Slinky so much, that we bought another one.

There. You each have your own.

Shouldn't be any problems. Especially since they are identical.

How could I possibly think that there wouldn't be any problems?!  Of course there was a problem. One of you totally enjoys tormenting the other. That means, one of you played with a Slinky that was not yours.  So that means that one of the Slinkys became tangled.  That of course led to an argument and the poor tangled Slinky was rudely thrown... no, make that SLAMMED into the recycle bin.

So now there is only one Slinky.  Guess who will get to keep that one?
